For you "older" folks with actual arthritis, what do I do? I scared of running, because I'm scared that my chrondomalacia will get worse, it's been about 18 months. Scared of doing rehab exercises for my VMO, because it leaves my knee cap irritated for days. I've always given up all competitive aspirations, and have taken up swimming, and even cycling (which sucks!). To be honest, I'd be happy jogging 25-30 mi/wk, and have no ambitions to run fast, or run marathons. 45 min - 1 hr, 8 min/mi, 4 times/wk
What's the low down, am I done for? I don't want to turn my back of being physically active and begun a glutton! I'm only 23! Tips and tricks appreciated!
