But to say we need to leave is cowardly and not suporting our brave troops right?
I think you are a coward for not joining the U.S. Army and shipping out to Iraq.
Is is brave to support the war when you are sending over others to fight?
So lets take out the bravery/coward isuue from discussing a national policy.
Are you a Chickenhawk coward or will you join the U.S. Army tommorow and fight in Iraq ? That\'s an open question for all warmongering necon types. If you are too old for the military, then will you join Halliburton, and drive a supply truck in Fallujah ? If you are a vet, and are a war supported, are you now, after 7 years of W. Bush, willing to backup what you say, re-up and go back to Iraq ? That\'s a question all Americans have. Are these loudmouths for real ? or is it just a phony Hollywood/Broadway act. So far Americans have concluded that the Chickenhawk coward are: Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney, George W. Bush, Scooter Libby, Carl Rove, Dick Cheney, Toby Keith, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Trent Lott, Bruce Willis, Rush Limbaugh, Mel Gibson, Sean Hannity, and an endlist list of necons. Are you a Chickenhawk coward ?
It's been many hours since my last post would. I figured it shut up the big mouth Chickenhawk cowards ;-) Don't feel bad, Chickenhawks. Just remember from now on that when you mouth off about sending someone to die for nothing, that that person you don't mind voluteering, is someone's son or daughter. Ghetto kids, trailer park trash, delinquents, the people who make up most of the miltary, have people that care about them too.
...Our country has stopped dozens of potential attacks right here on our soil... We are fighting them over there so we don't have to here....That was funny.
Iraq didn't attack the US. Bush lied. SO ARE YOU A LIAR. You are a fake Chickenhawk coward.
Warmongering? We aren't saying that we should start any new wars, we just want to finish what we started. You are the coward for wanting to bitch out and quit. Whether you agree with the war or not, the most cowardly thing to do would be to quit. Listing celebrities doesn't help your argument. Hollywood is the Mecca for far-left, anti-American BS. If all those republicans are cowards, then John Edwards, Al Gore, Michael Moore, Sean Penn, and Hillary Clinton are all anti-American hypocrites. That statement isn't true, and neither is yours. Nothing in war comes easily. Stop being a whiny little bitch.
I have yet to hear a republican insult our soldiers' intelligence. Yet I hear liberals call them white trash, drop-outs, retards, etc. almost everyday. Oh, and when you say that we don't mind them volunteering, what is that supposed to mean? Should we discourage them from helping their country?
I don't believe what you are saying is genuine. It's easy to send someone else to a war started on a lie. Are you in Iraq ? or are you just a crying little wimp with a Bible in your hand, a Chickenhawk like W. Bush, etc. ?

The GOP insults all soldiers, vets, and their families each day over and over again by sending them to die for a lie in Iraq. There is no greater insult to the military than to send them to die for nothing. But you wouldn't know about that since youv'e obviously never served in the military. Your'e just a DVD war movie watcher. You mock the military with a 'support our troops' sticker on your truck, yet you won't join the army. We know your type, there are 10's of millions like you. You guys talk big but then when asked you say you're too busy to serve, and then say your skinny little sister is in Iraq. You stinkin coward ! You Chickenhawk !
Should we discourage them from helping their country?
"them" ? What about YOU. You personally. Aren't you helping your country by enlisting and going to Iraq ?
If American soldiers were just kids with shitty grades how come we still retain the smartest, best military in the world? Does any country match up with us? I don't think so. So people saying that all soldiers join the military because of shitty grades are just plain ignorant and use a bad argument. American soldiers are smarter than than most people in America and even in the world, that's a fact. And most people who get out (retire, or put use to knowledge in other things) of the military go on and do great things. Soldiers are the ones who protect our freedoms and protect the country you are from. Give some respect to the soldiers ALWAYS, even if you are against the crappy war we are in.
According to your logic sending soldiers to war is an insult?
apparently, the far left thinking types are way out there.
Wow, once again I have become completely disillusioned with the future of our country based on the antics of high school and college boys with computers and access to the Internet. And just think, these are the same hs and college boys who show up for cc and track practice claiming to be balls to the wall, ready to hit those intervals, and pr in the next big dual meet. Yet, based on the advice of numerous coaches on the board (perform a thread search to verify), these are the same balls to the wall hs and college boys who so many cc coaches recruited from the "cut by other sports, such as soccer" lists, and now are piping off like they are real men.
I, myself, as mentioned on a previous military bashing thread, was a multiple-year high school state champion (soccer, indoor track, outdoor track), NCAA div I ACC athlete (soccer), marathoner, ironman (10th place finish), USL A-league national champion soccer coach, army paratrooper, and special ops soldier. As far as education, undergrad: university of maryland; grad: arizona state; arabic/middle eastern studies: defense language institute, monterey; juris doctor: marquette university law.
So if that life comports with your evaluation of what typical military guys are like, then you must tell me how many high school state championships you won in more than one sport, which top-level ncaa program you compete for, and how many degrees you have earned.
By the way, I was just an enlisted soldier, because I just wanted to test myself, like in track, soccer, marathons, triathlons, etc. It was just another physical/psychological challenge, not some preconceived plot to become a chickenhawk.
Most military guys are no different than you, they don't really like to get deployed, or fight wars for political reasons and natural resources like oil, but they do it because they are hard core, and dedicated to something bigger than themselves. Not necessarily the president's reasoning, but the unit, army, fighting force, etc.
It's really not unlike running cross country or track for a high school or college team, except if you flip over to the "Perhaps the Japanese have Lydiard right" thread, in the military you have people who submit to the orders of their superiors, just as, according to those in-the-know like Nobby, Mayeroff, et al., the Japanese distance runner with respect to his/her coaches. Whether they like it or not, they both just accept their position and work.
Of course, you are the same young runners coached by people like me now, obviously not acting like either the American soldier or Japanese runner, as you rant and rave about things in which you lack experience, and in which you lack courage to push yourself to a higher level.
you can support a war without joining the military right? You can support the police without becoming a police officer right? You can support a fire department without becoming a fire fighter right? You can support a person's medical needs without becoming a doctor right?
Everybody who mocks soldiers are usually against a particular war we are in. In Vietnam my father was called "baby killer" after landing in the states and even assaulted by some pot smoking hippie drop out (don't worry, the hippie got his ass kicked later by some other veterans). Those same people (like the hippie I just mentioned) are the mothers/fathers of the modern liberals today.
If you are against a war, don't take it out on the soldiers. It is disgraceful to mock a soldier who gave you those very same rights to do that and allows you to practice your own personal freedoms in which many people still today can't practice. Take it out on the politicians, they make the decisions for war, not the soldiers.
Sending troops to die for nothing is not supporting the military. It's a waste of American kids lives. There is nothing more un-American and un-patriotic than sittling idly by while the Bush Neocons have our kids slaughtered for their lies.
than do something meaningful about it CH Watch. Soldiers, as mentioned previously, don't necessarily have the luxury of taking a stand, but you do. Make it happen, if you feel that strongly.
