I really believe if we had sent our best guys, we would have had a good shot of breaking up that sweep. We have made so much progress in the SC in last couple of year and to not have an athlete make the final is bad.

Because the long standing tradition of qualifying 1,2,3 at the US trials determined the 3 runners who trained, raced, and earned the right to be in Osaka. End of story. I expect to see Brooks, McAdams, and Aguaro contending for Olympic spots.

Assuming you're American, no American has run faster than 8:18 this year. The bronze in this tactical race (last kilometre in about 2:40) was won in 8:17.

be it 10k or 3k SC all are the same.

ethiopian are the best at 10k kenyan are the best for3k sc.

Fam stayed home because he got his a%# kicked at US Nationals. Same with Lincoln. They got beat, fair and square. You really think they'd drop enough time to actually place at Worlds? Please. Lincoln is in med school, has been injured, and has been dealing w/ personal stuff - at least he has good excuses for not being in top form. Fam's just a hot-head who couldn't bring it when it mattered.

Besides, McAdams was running well this year - low 20s. Maybe he peaked to soon, but he has the potential to run in the teens. Just didn't happen at Worlds this year. He and the other guys trained and ran hard. And they whupped your beloved boy-toy, Fam. So #1 Get over it. #2 Show some love.
