if he ran 1:45 in a TT he should be running the 800 and not the 1500. 1:45 is way better than 3:35 or whatever hes run. also if he can do that in practice then he should be running 1:43 in a good race and should be winning worlds in the 800 instead of getting his ass kicked in the 1500
who are you, and why do you think you are someone to say(with validity) that Leo Manzano SHOULD be running this or that time and winning this or that. I'd say there is a 100% chance that he ran 1:45. When Webb ran 3:53 in HS, he came through 1500m in 3:38, and Webb's PR in the 800 was 1:48ish. It isn't unrealistic at all that Manzano could run 1:45 right now,

what soo many of you extremely knowledgeable posters seem to have forgotten is that last year, in 2006, Tom Lancashire ran 1:45 in the middle of the NCAA outdoor season, and the best he ever ran was 3:39 or so. It's funny how he ran that in a college meet and no one seemed to give a you know what and Leo does this with a pacer and with no heavy pressure to burden him and you guys think it's ridiculous. I think you people are ridiculous and need to observe and think more before you write or speak.
We are talking about a guy who beat Lagat in the last 100m of a 1500m race. Lagat who has run 3:26.change. Is it really unbelievable that Leo Manzano could run 1:45 right now, this far into the season?
