Has anyone heard of this?, Is it an option to consider?

Hey, I'm interested in this too. I wonder how much it costs. It seems fairly minimally invasive. It technically shouldn't cost much but they've probably jacked it up for the yuppified types who probably would be most likely to get this done.
Looking at the pictures, they seem to have slightly MORE of a flat feet problem than I do.. but mine has been enough to make my life a living hell (or well.. so I think.. need to lay the blame somewhere right?)
I have high arches but I still roll inwards excessively at the ankles. They mention on the site that is possible with some people. I think it depends on how much that space in between the two bones is compressed.
I can tell just by looking at my feet and ankles if something were inserted right where they claim to insert the stent that I couldn't roll as much. In the long run it sure as hell would beat orthotics, bulky shoes, which still don't work well on me anyway.
I really want to know how much it costs...
bump
this could be interesting wrote:

Ditto. Orthotics and bulky shoes don't "seem" to work well on me either. I mean, I have an efficient stride and they just seem to get in the way of it.
subtalar implants are nothing new. they are for people with severe valgus deformities not for people who are prone to running injuries
don't assume that your problems are related to pronation anyway. this is a lie of the shoe companies

it's all the evil corporations, man.
yes, the corporations. nike, satan, and podiatrists are all in bed with each other to sell you anti-pronation devices

But I **need** a cure, now, don't you get what I'm (and others!) are looking for!? I'm sitting here and my knee "hurts " (dull-pain) because I ran all of 2 miles yesterday, then did about 1 hr of strenghtening and stretching!.. UGH!!!!
