I can't stand all the threads and media reports about Mottram racing his arch-rival Bekele. Last time I checks Mottram has not been close expect that he did beat bekele once out of some 21 race (I believe) in a race that Bekele was sick (berlin 2006 in a 3000 meter)....to me that is not a rivalry at all. if mottram was closer to bekele then it would be call a rivalry

People are just edgy for no good reason. The sissy white guys are jealous that Mottram makes the most of his talent and generally makes a race of it. They would never have the courage to go out there and try and keep up with someone like KB ever. On the other side are the Africans who hate Mottram because they're afraid he might give other white guys ideas, guys with more talent than Mottram. They're afraid their whole world will come crashing down and that they'll end up being jokes like black heavyweight fighters today, where even the most steroid bloated of them usually get knocked senseless by Eastern European and Eurasian fighters these days, with the term "black hope" becoming even funnier than the old "white hope" of yesteryear.
