......
i dont get it
He's predicting how fast webb will run on friday, you dumbass.
i dont get it
1:54
2:23
3:32.7
4th place
Wow...those are remarkably consistent laps...I would venture a few tenths slower at the 400, a much slower second lap (57-mid) and a slightly slower third (57-low), which brings him in right around 3:31. Hoovis

Sounds about right, although I'd put him in the low 3:29s.
3:31 is at the slow end of what Webb can do IMO.
he has a huge base from last year and this winter. His 1:45 indicates he is quite fast, and could probably be a few ticks quicker over 8 if he had the experience in it he does in the 15.
sidenote: He has run 13:10, 8:11, and 27:34 from the period of 2005-2006. I suspect he is much stronger over the 3-5k range currently, and roughly around his 10k from last year. That said, his kick and 800 are amazing for a 15 runner with the strength he has. Hopefully he decides to man up and run what he is capable of, which is Sub 3:30, and probably by a good deal.
His 8:2-whatever was an outlier. I suspect he was training very hard through race day, and his system was getting around the speed work he was undoubtedly doing at the same time. He still ran very fast. I think he was tired and focusing on speed, and ran the 2 as a workout.
He will kick ass tomorrow. Unless he has a mental breakdown, which would be unfortunate. He has my blessing.
This prediction is about as valid as all of your other predictions, and therefore total garbage, but at least it's about running.
I would bet my first-born son that Webb does not break 3:29 on Friday.

If he happens to run 3:28.xx, he will win the race. However, I do not see anything faster than a 3:30.xx.
Do you have access to a time machine?
i am really starting to despise peeps b/c of this guy
If Webb goes 3:28.8x or faster?! he wins the race hands down.
He is not running any faster than 3:33!!
Hey your name is too similiar to mine. You need to change it. lol But just so I'm not confused with you and your prediction I'll give mine again. 3:30.high
that would be like running: 56.1/56.7/56.4/ and a 52.66 last lap or 3:41.866 mile (not quite but approx)
going down from mile to 1500 in distance or up from 800 does'nt inherently make people faster
Webb is great but his prs 3:48 mile and 1:45.8 800 and 1500 is 3.32.52
if he ran his 800 pr time for 800 and maintained it for the next 700 he would be at 3:18.375
if he can go sub 3:30 (and I hope but doubt that he can) then he needs to ask himself how great he wants to be
You do realize that only El Guerrouj, Ngeny, Lagat, and Morceli have ever run faster than 3:28.95, don't you?
Ngeny and Lagat almost only managed to go that fast when pulled along by El Guerrouj. Baala and Cacho, the only two other guys to (barely) break 3:29, did it following El Guerrouj.
I don't see Webb ever running that fast, much less tomorrow (with no El G slipstream).
400 - 56.2
800 - 1:53.9
1200 - 2:51.5
1500 - 3:33.22
just got back from my time machine
