Use the five-minute rule when you're feeling sick. Go out the door for five minutes and if things aren't clearing up or you feel worse, turn around, go back home and live to fight/run another day. If you feel OK, then jog slowly for no more than an hour in sweats. Do only this until you get well. Don't try speed, anaerobic, etc. It'll only prolong your bug. And of course, listen to your body.
