That HS race was unbelievable for him and Forys. These guys closed so fast, and Centro in particular (:58, 2:00, 4:16) never showed any tightness or tying up. I think THAT night, he would've beaten any HS'er in history. Against the right competition (Pre 2-mile race being too fast), I think he would've hit 8:35, at worst. He ran it the way some top 2-milers relax in a dual meet, before putting down the hammer when needed.
