for the statistician, what kind of format for the text file are you talking about? because if you want the stats program to read it in, it probably needs a fairly specific format... and you probably only want it to dump certain things to the file, ie not things like your notes. I mean, the file it dumps to (your name.xml) is essentially a text file with a bunch of markup that makes it easier for you to read (and change, if you really want). So if you only want a random text file with the data, all you have to do is save. If you want a formatted text file, you need to give me a lot more information as to how to do it :) what program is this? do you have a reference to the way it reads in files? if not, can you give me a precise listing of how to dump to the file? hmm... do you want it to, say, dump all the running mileages to a file with a space in between each? this sounds interesting (and not too difficult), so let me know..
also, to the person that suggested a negative split workout, that's a good idea. i can't promise it'll get into this version that i'm trying to rush out before school starts, but it's on my list for the future definitely.
