I know this has nothing to do with running, but I was looking at this site and listening to Beatles anthology. My favorite song is strawberry fields, but in the acoustic version. Does anyone know where to get a full version of this song or other takes of that song? If so I'd appreciate it.

A full version? You mean the original version? The original version can be found on many Beatles albums, including but not limited to Magical Mystery Tour, the Beatles One, and the Blue greatest hits album. The acoustic version is fantastic, I agree. I'm sure there are many other bootleg versions to be found on various bootleg CDs.

I'm not sure exactly, where do you live? Someplace like NYC will have tons of stores selling bootlegs, but I don't know what your situation is. If you live in the sticks, search around online/Ebay.

You might be able to find stuff like that in independent record stores in bigger cities. I wouldn't be too surprised if you could find some places like that in Madison, or maybe Milwaukee.
it's on one of the "anthology" double albums that was released back in the mid to late 1990's, i think....anthology 2, i'd guess.
Autumn in New York is a great time to see the real Strawberry Fields. You should make a pilmagrige to the Central Park locale, play your guitar and sit and reflect. Do it in the cool of an Upper West Side morning. There is always that guy who calls himself the "King of Strawberry Fields" ready to give you the tour. Then grab a cup-A-Joe, or a good breakfast tea and head a hundred yards over to the Dakota to look up at Yoko's apartment on the 7th floor. Think, reflect, play the song in your head, appreciate John.
