I was just watching outside the lines on ESPN and it featured a young man from South Africa who has run 46 low in the 400m....as a double amputee. Very impressive. He is apparently the #2 guy in the country but the IAAF is trying to change the rules that would disallow him to compete alongside "normal" athletes. It is proposed that the lightweight carbon fiber gives him an advantage. Also, it might make him taller thus increasing his stride length. What do you all think? Should he be allowed to toe the line versus Wariner and others in the world championships?
