Fast food is such a killer. All of America seems obsessed with diets - but the number one thing that most people could do is simply stay away from fast food (and soda) at all costs.
It's a Southern Region food chain, started in Atlanta. They have them primarily in the south. It's just chicken sandwiches and really good waffle fries. It's pretty good considering it's a fast food chain, but nothing that you want to go out of your way for.
... I'm sure Northerns can drop a few fast food chains that we've never heard of before as well.

I've done quite a bit more traveling than you or just about anyone else on this board. Thats how I know that there are people who never have occasion to lay eyes on a chik-fil-a. So sorry you dont get around as much.
Did you know there are places where people dont even speak English? Amazing but true.
They havent heard of Chik-Fil-A either.
ooh, your indignation is really cute. please tell me more.
that's the way In and Out Burger is here in So. Cal. Always a long line. Whenever I go to a fastfood place and see that situation. I park, go in, (I pick out a car toward the end of the line to remember). When I come out, that car is still in the middle of the line. Hard to figure, I agree.
The same people will zig zag in and out of lanes, leapfrogging lanes to get to the same stoplight or freeway exit with a stoplight......30 seconds before you; burning gas, using up brake pads and putting others danger...Idiots
Remember letsrun citizens, it's OK for chuckd to be snotty, but questioning his snotty comments is forbidden.

Thank you Adam, I do live in a northern city and am thankful for your explanation.
Someday I hope to be as worldly as chuckd.
what i'm not getting is that i make a snotty joke about how americans don't travel. and this guy is making the same point but is attacking my initial post. i'm confused.
You right. Guy is always snotty . You right he dont like snotty to him !
I think we should petition wejo to eliminate the thread format here.
The letsrun message board should be a series of single questions answered by chuck d. He knows everything, so why waste the bandwith?
When I'm by myself (and it's up to me) I go in most of the time, line or not. If there's a line, and not a crazy line inside too, I always go in. Saves gas, it's usually quicker and they are less likely to make a mistake.
Also, I have noticed that at Taco Bell if I eat inside the food is 10 times as good. It only takes 5 minutes to eat that stuff so I just eat it there.

If you're talking about the guy named "I guess", I agree with you. He sounded like the dip$hit, not you. His post lacked logic, but was full of arrogance. He probably feels his backpacking trip around Europe last summer qualifies him to put people in their place regarding travel.
I'm surprised there are folks that don't know of Chik-Fil-A. I've seen stuff about it on the Food Network and they have their own bowl game. It's like not knowing what Carl's Jr. or Waffle House (another ATL creation) or White Castle or In and Out Burger... all of which, save WF, are nowhere near anywhere I've ever lived.
I never do the drive through because I don't want the car smelling like that food.
Because they don't have Chick-fil-A! If they did, you would see them in line. They live in blissful ignorance - they were born into a cave, and have never seen the light!

I avoid fast food as much as possible. If I do eat it, I go to Subway or get a baked potato from Wendy's. I always go inside. I've never understood the point of going through the drive-thru. It takes longer and they always screw up the order. Who likes to eat while driving? No wonder there are so many idiot drivers.
Oh my gosh!!!! You mentioned a few places people might not know. Lets start a long argument about it.

He's got one of the better batting averages on the board in my book, especially impressive for a Midwesterner.
Nonetheless I don't think a single answer man format serves any of us well. At the least we need a rotating panel. malmo's one obvious choice. Others would nominate Tadpole Willy and, until recently, 430 but I can't agree with either. Maybe T McS though. And Gerry the Jogger. And tRg.

They don't have Chick-fil-A yet. But they have the other western fast food restaurants, McD', BK and KFC.
And they are alot more advanced in technology, medicine and social issues than the USA so your cave comment doesn't fly.

Please give us some examples of how they are more "advanced" in any of those areas.
