Ok heres the deal...I have 5 weeks left of training for a half marathon and I have already had 2 weeks of training...I'm shooting for around 35 miles this week (36 miles is the most I've done in a week) and I was thinking about going up to 45 or 50 before the half marathon but since it is relatively soon I'm not sure if that is the best idea consdering I've never upped my mileage very high before. Any suggestions...would it hurt to go up to 45 or 50 or do I need to get to around 40-45 in the next few weeks and then taper off for a few weeks before the race? Also, what are some good key speed workouts I might need to get in in the next 5 weeks?
