Mass internet coverage of races and meets all started more than 6 years ago with fast-women.com, mensracing.com, prettysporty.com, and letsrun.com. Now we can't do without them. The are the fist source and the last source. The tired old T.V. and newpapers are passe in the internet age. Moreso than coaching the websites are all volunteers with real jobs. For instance, years after, iaaf.org copied the above websites, and pays only getty images, all of the other reports and pictures are provided absolutely for free by volunteers.
The next wave !is! flocasts. We want the IAAF, and other federations to let flocasts cover meets and races. Just like the websites can do it. The websites are faster than the newspapers. Flocasts covers the whole race. We want to see more volunteers setup shop all over the world and provide videos of races the way flocasts has copied what fast-women.com, mensracing.com, and prettysporty.com, and letsrun.com started 6 years ago. That's the future of the sport. We want more coverage, and we want it now.
