for the last 4 weeks or so of my track season I started feeling pain in my heel similar to plantar fascia (which i've never had a problem with before)...after the season i took about 18 days off of running (only swimming as cross training) and am only starting very light running now. the pain almost immediately came back and is now worse. does anyone have advice for this? i really can't see it being plantar fascia because i've never had trouble with it and hadn't changed anything in my training. the pain is really exclusive to the bottom of the heel, not the arch, but i don't want it to get worse!
