"If you're gonna try to speak another language, don't screw it up."
- I thought it was extremely ironic that you used "gonna" and "gotta" in your demeaning of someone else's attempt at another language. You're a real idiot.

In the Miss Universe pagent evening dress competition Miss USA fell back, landed on her butt, recovered quite nicely and still beat many of the girls in this portion of the competition.
Next up, Chicago Marathon!

Won't be long before a miss universe will be fairly redundant.
Definitley lacking in blondes in the top 15.
Who're you trying to kid?
It's so funny how someone can turn something as innocent and beautiful as a pageant into bigotry...no wonder the world hates you.

1. That's not irony at all. You need to brush up on your 7th grade vocab.
2. "gotta" and "gonna" are entirely acceptable within the English Language. The "mucho gracias" was an error along the same lines of confusing "your" and "you're," which you thankfully did not do in your otherwise misinformed retort to me.

Maybe they are in your parallel universe. But in the real world, if you put one of those on a cover letter or a CV, you will not get the job.
Gave me a good laugh too!! Thanks

Um, I'm not the one who turned it into "bigotry." I think the Mexies started that with their booing. And if you think these pageants are "innocent," I have some oceanfront property in Iowa to sell you.

He never said they were accepted forms of formal language, dolt. You seem to be the master of straw man arguments.
Contractions are certainly a standard and accepted part of the English Language, but including them in formal writing, such as a cover letter or a term paper, will get you canned just as quickly.
Next.

That has to be one of the most pretentious statements I've seen here in a while. OH NO, I used a contraction, that must mean I don't know how to write a cover letter. Another contraction, dammit! I mean, damn it!
Is it just me or do most of these girls look the same? Oh well, they are definitely attractive.
I'm sure there will always be beauty contests; I just mean from the point of view of what country they are representing versus what their ethnic background is. After a point it's just a bunch of pretty girls; who cares what country they represent.
THat website link is wild, you can buy pictures! THere's a package you hope mom doesn't find in the mailbox.
It really looked like Miss USA slipped on some water or something. I'm sure there will be some conspiracy theories soon enough.
Miss Italy looks like a distance runner.

Agreed, definitely looked like a slick spot, not a stumble. Maybe Miss Mexico greased the floor. ;D

Um, you still live at home? There aren't any nude or even topless photos available, so what would mom object to?
She looks like the lanky, underweight distance runners, yes.
