I'll start us off.
Goal Race: Grandfather Mountain Marathon - July 14th
Had a good week hitting a new PR of 107 miles (172k).
Mon: am 10k recovery pm 8k easy
Tue: am 15k easy pm 8k easy
Wed: am 5k easy pm 7.5k easy
Thu: am 1.5k warm-up, 25k at marathon race pace, pm 8k easy
Fri: am 15k easy pm 8k easy
Sat: am 15k easy pm 1k, 1200,1000,800,600,400 w half distance jog recovery @ threshold pace, 1k cool-down
Sun: am 38.6k (24 miles) at an easy pace
Total: 172k (107 miles)
Felt really good on the 25k @ MP (6:20 pace) on Thursday. This is probably the most tiring workout I do in my marathon prep, but i felt real good from 3-18k. Did it on a rolling road 5k loop.
On Saturday PM I did my daughter's VO2 Max workout with her. Currently her VO2 Max pace is my Threshold pace so it served to stretch out my legs some.
