my girlfriend told me that she tried cocaine for the first time last week. she also told me that she has done it two or three times since. i have no idea what i feel/how i should respond to this.

Don't be such a prude.
If this is a serious relationship, you should try to get her to understand the seriousness of coke. If all else fails, tell her you'll break up with her if she doesn't quit.
If this is a short term relationship, you can either stick with her for the sex, or dump her. If she's gonna be doing drugs like that she probably isn't right for you (assuming you aren't into drugs).
Advice: If you're not cool with it, find a new girlfriend.
I've never tried it, and have no plans to unless it somehow becomes markedly safer/zero consequences but someone who goes from never doing cocaine to doing it "two to three" (she doesn't even know how many times?) in a week is sort of screaming addiction already, isn't it?
Get rid of her. I've been there. started with hash, moved onto LSD including LSD whilst driving, ectasy etc and then coke at the weekends.
She became a pain in the arse and I spent much of my time worried whether she was going to kill herself or someone else whilst driving on the crap.
It will end in tears. Get rid of her. Tell her it's you or the drugs, her choice.

Two side effects of coke are addiction and death.
That's a very bad pattern that you are describing - sounds like she could get hooked real fast.
Run away - if you're driving around with her and get busted with coke in your car, you're fubar.
Your best choice will be to lay the law down now and if she does it again, tell her to f off.
you must not be permissive toward this behavior. do not be neutral.

Ask her if she wants help now because this is a very slippery and steep slope. If she says 'No' tell her you are outta there, and you need to be gone like a bat out of hell.
first time i did it it was great. I felt fantastic and babbled incessantly for an hour. Then it wore off and I felt let down. After six months of making it part of my weekend lifestyle I started anticipating the letdown within seconds of the first snort. Time to quit. I can't believe some of the people on here. That stuff can kill you from using it once, not to mention how messed up drugs can make someone's life/ the lives of those they care about. I would do what I could to get her to quit using the stuff.
