lamonte pennington died in a car accident around 2000. he was a student at NC Central for a while.
david patterson went to NC States, won ACC 10K his freshman year.
i think eric kweder went to brevard junior college for a year. i saw him at penn relay running for the marines around 2000.
ryan andrus-wisconsin, followed martin smith to oregon.
i ran against lamonte in high school. no idea he passed away. he went to south carolina first though. maybe he eventually transfered.
I remember he was at SC for his first year and a half. His transfer to North Carolina Central was for financial reasons. I don't believe he ever ran a step for the Eagles. Nice Kid.
D
Maybe that got real jobs and lives.

Donald Sage was a freshman at York High School in 1997, finished All State that year and won as a senior. Won the NCAA DI 1500 his freshman year at Stanford, beat Webb.
yes, but I won't be looking for his information till I get to the 2000 class.
Can I get some help?
No 800 guys hey? I'm faster than all those chumps. Was then, am now.
Juan Chavira ran for Arizona State, kind of gave running up and got out of shape, then transferred to Virginia Intermont. He was trying to resurrect his career there but the team just got dissolved earlier this month. He graduated I believe and is probably in Southern California. He might still have an e-mail listed with the school unless they disabled it.
Eric Kweder went into the military I believe, but came back a couple years ago and did very well at Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY (NAIA). You may email the coach.
Sage was a year old than Webb and won the 1500m NCAA title his sophomore year, not his freshman.
Mike Hummel went to Texas A&M.
Tyson Hendrickson went to Rice, transfered to Stanford after two and a half years. Ran 8:51 as a soph at Rice, 8:49 career at Stanford.
Isaiah Festa went to Wisconsin. Also ran steeple, not sure of times, but he is still running and training out there. You can find him on MySpace and ask him.
Dan Wilson was also a senior in high school in 97 ran 4:14 and 9:05, went on to win numerous Big East titles and has a pb of 3:38 in the 1500.
Ran the Philly 1/2 this weekend and saw Kyle Smits from Washington state and Georgetown ran a 1:08. Great day for a race and a pretty decent time from Smits. Wondering if he has the olympic trials qualifier?
i believe smits won the capitol marathon in march or so of last year. i think he has a trials qualifier from another marathon.
I don't believe he has a trials qualifier. He is running Chicago for one this fall.
He is in Dental School in Maryland.
I think Juan Chavira went to a school in Arizona for a year or two but then quit, but I'm not sure why. I don't know about Noel Nelson, except that he went to a high school in my hometown. I know he shares part of the Mooney's Grove 3.0 mile course record of 14:50 with Fernando Cabada and a couple others.
Chris Dugan went to NC State and was an All-American, I believe in the steeplechase. No idea if he is still running anymore.
