There's nothing wrong with a 1500/5000 double - and there's nothing wrong with a 15k tempo run followed up the next day with a 1500m race for a guy preparing for Nationals in two weeks.
It's strange to me that you guys just cannot grasp the concept that McDougal is a 13:20 5k runner who completely outclasses the ICAAA field. This is no competition, it's a slaughter. Think the German Army vs the French.
