i've got a pair of pony suede starters that i got a few years ago.

Does it work for Pony too?

I had a friend who was sponsored by Kangaroo in the mid 80s; a good, regional level road racer. Worse than that, I was sponsored by Vans for 2 years, in the early 80s, in their short-lived venture into running shoes. (no, I wasn't good enough for Nike, Adidas, New Balance, etc..you take what you can get- I did get an assortment of casual shoes too, the checkered slip-ons, like Spicoli wore on Fast Times at Ridgemont High)

I wonder what happened to those old Riddell cleats for football. Spotbilt were pretty cool at one time as well.

Didn't Spicoli have Vans?

Kangaroos - they had a good 800 meter spike back in the mid 80's. I broke 2:00 for the first time in them.
