Actually Billy Mills is the Most accomplished Indian runner. The best Indian runner was/is Clint Wells 5k like 13:20's, 10k sub 28:00..... his name does not sound Native either but then again he was adopted by Non Natives, but the last name Wells is not uncommon in some areas, Becky Wells, for example (no relation to Clint) was also a great runner in her own right....Curious to know who posted earlier about last names and mentioned Dickens, Belcourt and Parker as common last names, give me a holla, just wanted to bounce some questions off ya.....
