I\'m running a marathon on April 28 and I have one more workout on schedule for nine days out. Here\'s what I\'m thinking for this Thursday...
-5 800-meter intervals at goal marathon time (2:55) with 2:55 recovery
-5-minute jog rest
-10K @ goal marathon pace (6:45 per mile)
What do you all think about this workout nine days out? I\'ve backed down my mileage a little this week and will do a 5K prep. run next Tuesday. Other than that, it will be 30 to 45 minutes easy with some striders.
Any comments and/or suggestions?
