Has anyone tried these out. I know Columbia and Brown run in them.
If you have tried them, what are your thoughts?
My college team is thinking about getting them for next year.

We have them for our women's team this year and they are great. This summer we are going to change our men's over to them also. Talk to your local Boathouse rep and they can bring you some samples to try on. Fully customizable and pretty well priced makes them a good buy.
How's the material?
We got them this year and the men's are pretty awkward fitting, especially the split shorts. Singlets seem a bit too baggy.
We love ours, they copied our old design and they look and feel great. They are much lighter feeling, especially when they get sweaty, since they don't have any screen printing on them.
I think they're sweet. We got them for the mideast meet of champions and the way they printed them was great. Like Hillsdale said - no screen printing. It's like the printing is just part of the fabric. It's a very nice. Wow we whoa woo.
My team had boathouse warm ups and the pants were no fun. I am 5'10" 145 and the waist in the pants was so tight, even after I cut the drawstring that they'd always ride up above my hips and strangle me. Annoying.
Sounds like you got the wrong size, they are a custom company right?
But I think this thread is about their uniforms not their warm-ups.
We have them and they are sweet, the womens shimmel tops are longer thasn most brands so they actually stay tucked in and don't ride up.

oh is that what the columbia chicks are wearing? I don't think their uniforms are very flattering.. it's hard to make runners look like they have an hourglass shape. or even pear shape.
Try them on, right, that would have been a good idea.
Actually, they were assigned to us without our having a chance to try them on.
I don't think it was a size issue though, I think the waist was just made too small. I'm a thin guy and these were men's medium. I would have had to have been 80 pounds to fit into them comfortably.
Maybe they were mislabled and they were women's? Hard to say. Ours fit pretty well, but I am a female so who knows.
