in tomorrows los angeles marathon there will be 18 elite men with half of them being american (no names were mentioned) the women has only 5 elite runners the article did not give their nationality's, but i suspect a very weak womens field as the women will get a 19 minute and 51 second head start in the 100 thousand dollar challenge. this looks like a bad year for performances as there not releasing names, well see i hope to see good times, but i doubt it.

Those porn nuts at the L.A. Marathon update their website like they are in the South, when they are done making methampetamine for the day. L.A is the greatest track and field area and is the sports capitol of the world, we all know that, with the most Olympians, but they run a marathon like a piss-hole town.
Los Angeles is having Santa Ana wind conditions this weekend. Tomorrow, it will be very dry with a probable high of 75+ degrees after mid day. Those who will be out there more than three hours should pay particular attention to keeping hydrated and use sun screen. I have no idea if there is any shade on the new course.
what i dont understand is they said half of the 18 elite men are american, if there is even one or two elite americans running a marathon, wouldnt there be long threads here on letsrun about elite americans doing a marathon and yet i have not seen any mention of who these elite americans are with the exception of the rumor josh cox is running, can anyone confirm this.
they're all 2:20 tyupe guys who brthlow is pumping as elites, but he proably didn't even give them bibn numbers.
Cox is running 13-18 for training...might finish if hes feeling good.
Try San Diego for one of the best So. Cal places to run and Sacramento for one of the best Nor Cal places to run.
L.A.'s too hot, dry, crowded, and smoggy. My gosh, the County has 12 million + people. Yes, there are nice places to run there, but there are far more beautiful, scenic, and great for hosting-a-race places in other places in California than L.A.
