I was diagnosed with (sp) Costolchondritis on my second rib.
Has anyone had experience with this and still training? It hurts like a bitch right now.
Thanks in advance

Try running uphill. It happened to me once, and I ran uphill for a couple of weeks.
One of my teammates had a broken rib 2005 cross season. He was told that it wouldn't hurt the rib or the healing process any if he ran, so he just sucked up the pain for a while. Eventually it became too much and he got some sort of numbing agent or steroid injected into his rib before each of our meets. It was pretty sweet, you could poke his side and he wouldn't feel it.
But yeah, he ran through it and is no worse for the wear.
it freaking hurt, but i ran 10 miles the day after cracking a rib, and never missed a workout, though i wasn't doing anything other than base milage at the time. but man o man, did it hurt. it bothered me for a solid month.
yep
When I was in high school I was in a weight lifting class (I know, my school sucked, where else can you get credit for lifting weights). Anyway, I cracked a rib in a soccer game and couldn't lift for a few weeks. Instead I had to just run all through class. For the first few days I wore an ACE bandage tightly wrapped around my ribs, running didn't seem to bother it at all. Granted I wasn't racing anyone, but I had no problems at a comfortable easy run pace.
