While that is funny to us, others will not get it. If you want to sell something, it should be appealing to a variety of people. Some runners at the expo may not be familiar with Letsrun. They might think the message is negative. I'm not saying we have to please everybody, but we can at least sell them a shirt. Even if they never visit the site, the shirts are still advertising. It would be best to sell shirts from the website as well, including ones with inside jokes.
I don't think anyone will buy a letsrun shirt unless they've been to the website anyway. Especially if that fugly logo is on it.
What letsrun should really do is just officially endorse Ritz and print "Go Ritz" shirts. Ritz will probably be the most popular runner there, since it's in his hometown, and probably lots of the people in attendance would buy a "Go Ritz" shirt.
Since letsrun is sponsoring the post race party, they should make pint glasses with their ugly ass logo on them. People might actually buy those, because you don't have to wear them around and have people say, "Goddamn! That's an ugly logo!" People expect stupid logos on beer glassware.
KnowItAll piñatas might sell too. Except, instead of filling it with candy, you'd fill it with bullsh!t.
