What's the story on "24" ?

What I find so hard to believe about the show is how they all manager to get cell phone reception in these concrete bunkers 200ft underground.

There is no cell phone service on the planet with such great coverage.

Or the government isn't telling us something.

What it's about is this guy (Kiefer Sutherland) gets into situations that he needs to deal with.

The action on 24 is great, but it's definitely an easy show to poke fun at.

Keifer Sutherland sucks. 24 sucks. sucky sucky suck suck.

If you watch 24, you too will suck.

Me personally, I'm excited to see Mr. Skolnick, next week, portraying Jack Bauer's father..Maybe we can see Booger and Ogre in later episodes....

Or season 8, where we find out Jack's a schizoid and all these episodes where psychotic dreams..and he wakes to see Nurse Cratchit.

I started to catch up by checking out the DVD's from the library and watching 5 episodes a day. As far as the right wing thing, I'm not sure, but they sure do like to violate people's civil liberties and pretend that such a concept is a joke and not worth considering.

Hence the adage, "If you think it's expensive now, just wait until it's free," a concept that is lost on most people. The private sector is not without its faults, but the government, present administration included, is the most inefficient allocator of capital of all.

Or how about Day 5?

If you've watched the series from the beginning, it's not difficult to figure out the parties characters represent. You'll see that scumbags are distributed fairly evenly.

This season started a little weak w/ Jack killing an American instead of a terrorist and the nuclear bomb stuff was fake. Last night ended good with Jack putting a plastic bag over his brother's head, but they ruined the suspense by showing upcoming scenes. This season also foreshadowed the superbowl match up. Its better than seeing Gina Davis in the Oval Office.

I didn't read all your post, and consequently am not looking at the screen right now, but I'd recommend NOT watching any previews. As soon as the show ends, I always turn it off and either leave the room or mute the tevelvision when I see a commercial come on. It does ruin the suspense and I like going in completely fresh, just like Frank Costanza.
