Magic Eight Ball says: Sub 2 is beyond your reach
The workout descriptions you posted would be much more meaningful if you listed the recovery periods. With such, I could give you a more reliable estimate.
2:07.6 ish
if you can run 1:29, 1:28, 1:27 during a workout with any amount of rest (15 min.) you can most likly go 1:56-1:58 in the near future.
Back in the day when I ran 1:27 as a sophmore at the NYC ARMORY, I ran 2:10 WIDEOPEN on a relay indoors. I did finish the outdoor season with a 2:02 pr as 10th grader.
Don't be fooled by your 600m times it takes lots of
quality base training in the fall and some keen sharpness,
not to mention natural ability...... to crack a 2:00 flat 800m.
A Good XC-base
Long and midium range intervals
Speed work
some talent

1st of all nice workout, especially on the 1000's.
i think after just a couple of speed workouts like 12 x 100 or 12 x 200 you could easily go 157.
but without any speed workout, if you were to race today, id say youd be lucky to run a high 158.
remember that the 800 is a very fast distance, there just a little discrepancy between it and the 400, so EVERY SECOND COUNTS. there is a huge difference between a 1:59 and a 2:00, or in your case if you were to throw in a speed workout, 157-158. do yourself a favor and start speed training, you wont see up to 2-3second differential in your times in a week or so.

119... I would advise that you not take advice from a 4:30 miler who believes in year-round speed training...

not sure what the rest of these guys are talking about, but the first time i ran 1:57 i could never have done these workouts. I'd say if you geared down for a race you could hit 1:53-54, probably faster later in the season. peace.
im inclined to agree sub 1 55 for sure, those show great endurance for the 800, and this early too, probably 152-3 at end of outdoor

That's not me!
Go run a 600 as fast as you can and then add three seconds and that should indicate what you can can go through the 600 of an 800 and maintain a decent last 200
For example: 600 @ 1:24, add 3 seconds = 1:27 and then you should be able to finish in 30 seconds=1:57?
Typically guys running 1:53-1:58 can run the last 200 @30
1:59- 2:02 last 200= 31-32
1:48-1:51 last 200 = 27-29
This might seem crazy but I will have my 800 athletes run 600 time trials a couple weeks before there first race and 10 years of doing this I have been run on the money....
