Has anyone here had snapping hip syndrome from the iliopsoas tendon in the front of their hip? I've had this problem for over a year, but I have not be running much (just running for fitness and not training) so it hasn't been a real concern. Last time I was seriously training it caused a lot of problems, such as soreness and tightness and in my IT band, quad, and groin. I want to start training seriously again, but I'm concerned these problems will begin again.
Any suggestions on what I should do to keep this from happening? I feel like I have been doing the right stretches and strength work for a while, but I still get the snapping sensation in the front of my hip if I bring my leg high enough. Anything else I can do?
