Congrats to the UAA teams and individuals that had great races at Nationals--not just NYU men, but Wash and CMU and Case... A great job by the conference! Did any other conference do better? NESCAC, I'm guessing--others?
Meanwhile: it's not too early to start looking at UAA track and field! Will the NYU men--rapidly turning into the Providence of the UAA--ever threaten for a title? Do they have anybody competitive in the non-distance events? (I know they've had national-level jumpers, at least, in recent years--anybody this year, or are they just a one-trick pony?) Wash always seems to be competitive in t&f--who else (men or women) will vie for a title?
And who are the individuals to watch--did anybody get a hot recruit for the track events? (Yeah, I know this is mostly a distance board, but I bet somebody follows t&f, as well.) Any returning athletes who should contend for UAA/national titles? Anybody who unexpectedly *didn't* return?
