Well, if you think about it, the burg has the home course advantage, o it looks like they are playing the advantage!!!but there is also some sleepers in the race, david warren(wilmington) who sealed the deal for them at wittenberg, who i might add was stung by a wasp before the race, so we know he has some pain tolerance!John Hull who has ran about eleven 10k(s) during the past track season. what a bamf, that is like 11*10,000 meters that is 110,000 on the track in two months, that is some massive exp. so we all know he is ready to go.randy frame....bamf, after being at the fall classic i heard coach ron combs say to his senior runner, that they should dominate the OAC meet more than expected. he also stated, that back in 2001 when they first entered the OAC under great leadership and a firery competitor Derek "action" jackson. who got a high place at OAC i believe got 7th. and i hope david and randy can work past their frustation towards each other and pull out a good one.Harry Potter, enough said, he could win with a magic spell.stephan woods, who has been running for capital for the past few years and is now just coming into the main hull of the things, he has been capital's number one runner since day one.And what about this Alex Simko kid, i hear he doesnt shower.

if randy frame toes the line with his porn star mustache, he wins, hands down
David will have something to say about that..
I was wrong. ONU 6 in the top 13! Amazing that they still didn't win. Congrats on a great showing nonetheless.
any results to pass along yet?
Results are up at berg.

ONU's 6-10 would have gotten 4th place at the meet, beating Otterbein by 20 points. It is amazing how fast a program can fall apart, Otterbein beat ONU last year and got 2nd at OACs last year. Way to go, Cardinals!
Otterbein's losing the top 2 runners in the conference (Cauley and Sawicki) to graduation is hardly what I would call a program "falling apart" - after losing those guys it's natural for them to have to rebuild a little bit. Would have hoped for a stronger debut from frosh Alex Simko but we'll see what happens in track and next year.
Losing the top two guys hurts, but having a guy who placed 13th in the Conference as a freshman and then having two other guys in the low 20s not improve is not a positive step. They were led by a freshman also...
It looks like they are rebuilding from scratch.
was this meet on a golf course?
yes... an extremely sloppy muddy soggy golf course...
Yes, the meet was on a golf course. A muddy, wet golf course.
Yeah Otterbein is having a down year this year, but i'm sure they will back to their normal ways next year in xc. They are usually one of the top teams in the OAC and i don't see them as being happy with mediocracy.
Mount Union always seems to be strong, so i have to hand it to them. It is nice to see Ohio Northern's progression over the last few years....they have things going in the right direction for sure. Hard work pays off w/running and coaching.
is this course normally really fast?
yeah this eric green kid, he was the one that got 13th last year...man this kid blows!!!! what the hell is he doing at the college level? and what a freshman? WWWWHATTT?

Becraft,
remember telling me to \"be reasonable\" with my 40-42 Mount win with six ONU runners in the top 13 predictions?

You\'ll notice my unreasonable predictions actually smelled an awful lot like the real thing.
is Ford a true frosh?
I am pretty sure he ran track last year. So, I am guessing he was hurt last XC season and is a redshirt frosh.
