Any helpful ideas on how to get a stuck track spike out of the milers? 5 out of 6 came out fine, but the 6th, i've widdled down so the track spike just slides up and off of the spike. Pliers won't work either, I can't get a good enough grip on them. Any ideas on lube or such that has worked in the past?
Have you tried vice grips? I had the same problem, got a pair of vice grips, locked them on the spike and it came right off.
Use a file to give the vice grips something to grip. If it fails, use a drill.

get a file, and file down a grooove in it like a flat head screw and then just take a screw driver and unloosen it. has worked every time for me

Also give it a squirt with WD40 and let it soak for a while first.
if u cant do it get somone stronger or bigger, that moght getr it out with pliers. i could get 2 out and im not all that strong as an long distance runner, but one of me friends on the b-ball team was way stonger than i was and about 4 tries later he got it out wit some pliers, it was hard.
