my pre-schooler ran 13:47 his is not even 4 :-)
15:47 5K, though Im sure the pre school post was a joke, just clarifying for those who may have been wondering.
I couldn't help but notice that you didn't tell us the distance of the race, though!
5K?
3-mile?
Certified course?
Elevation drop?
A nice effort for the young man, but those little facts kinda make a difference.
the Wendy's race in NC is one of the largest meets in the country and has been around for quite some time. Everyone knows its a 5k. How old are you?
5k certified course. it was run at mcalpine creek park which is the same course used for footlocker south, so a legit 5k but course is fast as hell compared with to others.
is he related to the blackman sisters? angelina and whatever the other one was?

Ah, yes...the traditional eastern time zone "how could you not know about our (blank)?" mentality.
If you must know, I'm 45-years-old, and have been involved with the sport in one capacity or another for over 30 years. However, in my corner of the world I could sound equally as condescending regarding the Mt. SAC Invitational, just as I'm sure that many people from the eastern seaboard couldn't care less about a XC race in Walnut, CA.
Thanks for your concern, though.
what is so awesome about that time? i'm confused.
the kid is in 7th grade and ran 15:47 and you don't understand why its a big deal? you are an idiot.

Except everyone *does* know about Mt. SAC...

Im sorry but perhaps you should have looked at my post DIRECTLY ABOVE YOURS, where I clearly stated that it was a 5K.
I don't care what grade he is in, there are men that can vote in the 8th grade in South Carolina, how old is the kid?

I'm sorry but perhaps you should have looked at THE TIMES THAT BOTH OF THOSE MESSAGES WERE POSTED, and you can clearly see that they are almost simultaneous.
That means that your second post "directly above" didn't exist yet when I started typing mine, but apparently the logic of that entire concept escapes you.

Haha! Good play, and possibly true.
he will be burnt out by his sophmore year of highschool. 1540s will be as good as he gets.
born in 93
Even at 1540s he'll still be better than you were, troll.
Dear This Kid's Future High School Coach,
I hope you're not clueless.
Sincerely,
Me
He's not clueless. I dont know much about him, but his team is always near the top of SC XC. And he has a one or two more sub 16 guys, which may not sound like much to some of you, but in SC thats saying somethin.
