What is better for the 2 mile (track) and occasionally, the mile (track) the White ventulus or the Eldoret II? Explain. Is there any difference between the white ventulus and the spotted ventulus?

Afraid I can't compare the two (never touched a pair of Eldoret IIs), but the white and spotted ventulus are the same. I used the Ventulus plus (same plate as original, steeple upper) a lot for the 3200 in high school and I liked it. Very comfortable, very light, but it isn't a terribly aggressive plate, so you'll hear people say it's harder to sprint in them than a more aggressive spike.
there's tons of threads like this on dyestat.com. go to the spikes forum, you'll find everything you ever wanted to know about comparing one spike to another. dont post a new thread, it's been done a bunch of times.
There acutally is no thread really comparing these two similar shoes specifically. I posted a poll on there as well.
I thought the White Ventulus had a way better fit for me, while in the Eldoret II it looked like my foot was falling over the shoe. The Ventulus feels nice upon landing since there is a little zoom air inserted in the heel while in the Eldoret II the bottoms plastic feels too hard while tap down the track and is annoying after 800 meters. The Ventulus might not have the most agressive plate but I have seen many good 800 runners wear them. So I think the Ventulus is the superior spike. I wish i didn't leave them at an indoor track meet this winter because I can't find a size 13 anywhere.
