Most of you don't realize the absolute horror of what is going to happen to our two beautiful galaxies. We may not live that long, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't care.
It's never too early to start working on ways to avoid a catastrophe of this magnitude. I would suggest finding a way to use antimatter to steer enough stars away from the collision course.
We have no way to use antimatter to steer a star... YET.

Everything is mostly empty space. If a bar of lead smashed into a bar of uranium, the only thing stopping them from mixing together is that nuclear forces are strong over that empty space between the atoms and particles. Very strong!
Gravity is not as strong, but galaxies can still smash into each other, the way semi-liquid things like oatmeal or fresh rhinoceros turds could. And the result will be even more ruinous than that.
