Minnesota Distance Elite had 3 women in the top 6 Americans yesterday. That should not go unnoticed. Frisbie, Pophein, and Heyday are all women that should be watched.
Hansons men had Haftu Knight run 2:07 yesterday and is new to the event. JP Flavin won the Marathon Project in 2:09 without yesterdays wind tunnel. Shuaib Aljabaly ran 1:01:10 Half marathon this year and hopefully my favorite Zach Panning is getting healthy.

Pretty wild, they went 2:22, 2:24, 2:24... None of them studs in college or high school. Frisbie had the best credentials in college but still nothing crazy. And on the men's side in the past few years they've gotten Joel Reichow (South Dakota State) to 2:09 at New York and JP Trojan (Syracuse) to a 2:10 and some others to 2:12.
The types of athletes they get are like a minute behind the top NCAA runners in the 10,000m coming out of college, imagine what could be done with a team sponsor that lets them pull some of the top athletes out of college.
