Where I live it has consistently been above 90 degrees for at least 5 days of the week and most of my 32 and 16 races have been extremely hot as well and I haven’t been able to pr since my meet from a few weeks ago (I ran the 32) and Pr’d by 6 seconds. But my next meet I ran 13 seconds off my pr since the race was about 85 degrees. In the 16 the following week it was closer to 90 and I was off by 5 seconds. Does anyone have any tips to prevent the heat from slowing me down? I don’t want to finish the season bad because of something stupid like this.
