Are we sure this is a marathon?

The results are here, and the winning margin is less than 1 second.
Unbelievable comeback at the very end. Earlier splits had them close.
Results online showed chip time with 1st winning by two sec. Probably what you see on the video is not exactly in line with that (and maybe the finish tape/banner was after the final mat and finish line). Regardless, the winner gained a lot in the final 100m or so.
Looks like the winner was on steroids. Also the typical loud mouth in the background who probably shouts "GET IN THE HOLE" whilst watching golf on tv.
I've raced a few over the years and ain't never had no kick like that left at the end. But then again that's why I was never a overall winner.
Inspired by Nathan Martin's finish a couple weeks back in L.A.
It's not like the guy who got passed what hot dogging it. It is technically celebrating too early, but a couple fist pumps is hardly headline worthy.
Its not a race if it is organized by Corrigan Sports. They are great at getting the overweight walkers at their events. Baltimore is a joke and so was this. You pay a lot of money for a stupid medal and food afterwards is usually snack from Costco.

Or maybe Emily Infeld in the 2015 World Championship.
Winning time was around 2:43. In all likelihood neither of these guys had ever even dreamed of winning and hadn’t given much thought to competing for place until some point relatively late in the race.
that camerman speaks for all of us
That looks like the guy finishing the 5k fun run just runs down the marathon winner.
Would enjoy hearing from each of them. They had a great race.

“Never celebrate too early”? Advice should be don’t be oblivious. If you are, you risk losing even without celebrating.
This might be a modern day Rosie Ruiz
Shirtless and celebrating too early? He earned that L
Didn’t the two close finishers have splits from the entire race?
