Jordan Anthony, who enters World Indoors as the world leader in the 60m (6.43) gave a great interview after he won his first-round heat this morning in Poland.
He said this is his first time out of the country and was surprised that people wanted his autograph. He said he is happy to be here but also shooting for the gold medal.
And he also said he got a big blood clot in his left arm yesterday after a doping control officer stuck him outside his vein. He had a spiderweb of tape on the arm and it looked like he can't straighten it all the way. But he said "nothing’s going to affect me from winning a gold medal for Team USA."
Fun interview.
