Can he channel the power of being super thin to run the AR at New York? Must be on the beans and rice diet

Grant has run 26:33, so I don’t think he needs any weight loss to have a chance at an extremely mediocre US half marathon record. Considering Kiptum split 60:47 and 59:48 at Chicago, I do think there is a chance that Grant could run 59:16.
if Grant Fisher doesn't get that record
NYC is not a record setting course. He'll run a good race but I'm not sure about the AR.
only your average letsrun poster could write "an extremely mediocre US half marathon record" regarding 59:16 which isn't remotely close to being mediocre..the poster who wrote this has to have a half PR of at least 57:00

You aren’t very bright. If I said that the record for most moronic posts on this site in a day was an extremely mediocre 37 by you, I wouldn’t need to have done 38 on another site to have a valid point.

Did the video say he was going the same workout again in two days as part of the second half of a double threshold day?
okay so apparently the NYC half isn't record eligible, though Mantz ran 59:15 there. The official record is his 59:17 from Houston.
I feel like Fisher could break the AR as a workout. Low 58s/High 57s if he pushed on a record eligible course.

lol. as he'd still be a minute behind klecker
Hey you need to stop with your sass! No one asked for your sassiness...sassy pants! 59:16 is not mediocre sassy!
Grant Choker is officially finished!
He isn’t any thinner than he was during indoors.
He's always been a small dude. I remember watching the Bowerman mile last year and thinking he looked more similar to the East Africans than to the other runners from western countries.

Mantz ran faster than his AR there, so it's not a terrible course. A very fit Fisher should have a chance.
The caveat of course is that it won't count as AR, but I'm just referring to having a chance to break 59:15.
I don't know what he looks like now, but doesn't the thread title make people fear/think stress fracture incoming?
^ with that emphasis and all CAPS on THIN
Does he look like a skeleton with a condom pulled over his head?
