Wesley Kiptoo and Hillary Bor pretty safe for top 3 as no one is going with them, and 40smth second gap at 10K
Battle for 3rd is probably settled, Ahmed Muhamed has dusted off Charles Hicks unless there is a rally
Uh the top women must have gone way off course. Like 90s +
drama as the lead car turned off course VERY BADLY, and now Ednah Kurgat, Jess McClain and Emma Hurley is totally thrown 1-2min off and is now 11th-13th at 20K...

Definitely went off course by a lot. Don’t they follow a lead vehicle? How does this happen?
Pretty sure the lead car took a wrong turn.
WTF !!! We need answers.
I say just send the leading 3
USATF goes home devastated. Total amateur hour.

Ugh. Stinks. No one wants that. Still, gotta know the course—that’s part of the race. Even so, Atlanta Track Club needs to figure out what happened. That’s embarrassing.
Also, while I don’t think they wanted to win that way, congrats to the 3 who stayed on course!
LOL the women's winners declined the interview, everyone just confused/angry now
Happened at 1:04:40 of race time in the video
USATF is a joke. Jess McClain ran such a smart, well-calculated race. We should have won a well deserved national title today but once again USATF ruins the day. Luckily she has Boston for redemption, but this is embarrassing for USATF.

Molly Born, who crossed the line first, seemed totally puzzled about the whole situation.
