My neighborhood has a few decent runners. And there are number of strava segments on our streets. But no one really just targets those sections. We all just do our runs and workouts and if someone happens to have a pick-up on a segment and gets a KOM (crown) - so be it.
But, a former D1 runner and budding influencer just moved in. And he's deliberately organizing his runs and workouts to get those segments. And when he gets a crown, he posts incessantly.
So, I decided to just focus my efforts the last couple of weeks on taking his crowns. Now, each time I do, he writes to Strava, flagging those runs as me either being on a bike or uploading bad GPS data.
I suppose I brought this upon myself. Thoughts?
