The best running podcast out there. I’ll miss it, I haven’t listened to this one yet, so I don’t know what they say, but I hope they’ll come back for the Olympics or worlds
I'm sorry to hear that. Kevin and Jason kept me entertained on a lot of long runs. I was hoping they would make it until the LA Olympics to throw their microphones into the sea, but they were amazingly consistent and dedicated for many years.
Gutted. Been listening for over 10 years now. They did a great job of providing insight/analysis without taking themselves too seriously. Kinda saw this coming, as they have been dropping podcasts with less frequency lately, after years of churning out 80-90min episodes every week. Kevin and Jason, you will be missed!
Been listening since I started working at LetsRun. Really fun podcast, and Kevin and Jason are just two great, genuine guys. Knowing Jason is a Bulls fan, maybe we could convince them to make an MJ-style comeback (the first one that ended in glory) in the leadup to the '28 Olympics in LA?
I appreciate their dedication to covering the sport, congratulate them on their run, and am sad when anything that adds to the media landscape around our sport goes away… but I tried to listen to get into this podcast toward their beginning of the run and then again a couple times in the middle (probably listening to 3-5 episodes each time, so like a dozen total over all the years), and I never thought they were that insightful about the sport or that entertaining. It seems like everyone else posting here really enjoyed it, so am I the only one?
They are unique - will miss their world and American record songs and celebrations too. Get them on the LRC podcast for send off.
The songs were great. Maybe they'll emerge as occasional posters on the LR boards. Looking forward to the Mack & Sully reunion drop (TRACK:All-Access year-end awards show) on Dec 22.

agreed, they were the best and just curated a great community of track fans who could enjoy the silliness of the sport but also took it seriously. their commentary was always great, they just let their listeners write songs and tell the same inside jokes for years and it was beautiful and there's nothing else like it out there. they will be missed!

Great point, the listeners were great as well. I really enjoyed some of the emails. Some of them were absolutely hilarious.

Man this really sucks. By far my favorite running podcast and the only one I’ve consistently listened to for any real amount of time. Not sure what will fill the gap of fun and not too serious running news, recaps, etc.
I only listen to Letsrun podcast. Haven't been able to sit through any other running podcasts. Did Flotrack for a little bit but it got insufferable pretty fast.

If you've never heard them read the listener-written screenplay for House Of Run: The Movie, do yourself a favor and seek it out. Funniest running-related thing I've ever heard. I will dearly miss checking in with them once a week, perhaps they'll do a reunion podcast if Chief ever tracks down Jason's viking helmet from the Wild Duck.
Been listening to them since 2012 and they got me through many long runs. Great guys and they had a very enjoyable and refreshing podcast. 15 years is a long time to do ANYTHING, so congrats and thanks for the fun.
I have been an avid listener since 2012. Like the top t-shirt in the rotation, they were my top podcast! I only wrote into the show once. If only I had written more emails….they might have kept it going.
I always dreamed that at a track meet, the crowd would spontaneously burst into the World Record song after such a performance.
