Can't remember him ever running an indoor race in the U.S., and he generally doesn't come over to the States except for Pre (Nike obligations) or the Oregon world champs. I see little to no chance of this happening.
There is ongoing talks about a possible world cross country trip, and staying over to do indoors…
just rumors so I have no sources sorry
after watching the European cross country championship course, I’m sure you can all use common sense and ascertain why he didn’t run on that course.
If that turns out false, he could open in Madrid on Feb 3rd. It has a 3k and he could get an easy qualifier for World Indoors. + It’s really close to Sierra navada the trip would be less than an hour

Granada to Madrid is more than 4 hours in car. More than 400km.
From the training camp in the Sierra Nevada mountains above Granada it takes possibly even longer since you have to drive on serpentine roads to come down from the mountains.
I have been skiing in Sierra Nevada many times so I know the area quite well. I am currently living near Benidorm on the East Coast of Spain.
Skipping XC this year so will be super fit. Would love to see him in the 2 mile with the other two guys… breaking Kerr record.
What about skipping XC is going to make him super fit? I'll concede that it might make him more ready to race on the track but I doubt he'll be any fitter.

Where do you typically fly into for access to Sierra Nevada? And do you rent the car or take a taxi from the airport?
