Callum Hawkins and Phil Senseman on men's side and Alex Yee I believe. On women's, Lilly Partridge and Charlotte Purdue. Can Calum get back to where he was pre super shoes/covid - twice 4th in Worlds/Olympics. 208 or so pre shoes.
Look here, these days we are living in an unprecedented epoch of deception. Fake news, AI generated slop and misleading narratives constructed by hostile governments threaten the sanctity of truth in all of our lives. I
However, even in these times you can be certain of one thing. Oh yes, the mighty Doctor Paddy Roddy will be on the start line of Valencia. And let me tell you, that fellow can do some serious damage on his day. Or any day for that matter. Ever since I saw him demolish that goat meat pizza in Ninh Binh province, I have not doubted the extent of that man's power.

Johnny Mellor and Jack Rowe are running, as is Rose Harvey. There's a bunch of 2:10-2:15 British men and 2:30-ish women running.
Sesemann is the one to watch. He ran 2:07 in Amsterdam as a training run. If he was honest about that, he could be in for a big PB. It sounds like Yee is going to run for sub-2:07 as well, though I'm not convinced he'll get especially close

He didn't say it was a training run. He said he was racing 2 marathons in quick succession.

His 2:08 PB came in London 2019…surely he had carbon plated shoes for that, right? They were breaking out by then.
From Germany, you got WC silver medalist Petros, German record holder Fitwi (both 2:04:50s), Hendrick Pfeiffer (2:07:14 in Houston 2 years ago, fastest German in Berlin 2025), Sebastian Hendel (2:07:33, fastest German in Berlin 2024)
On the women's side, Gesa Krause (2x world medalist in the Steeple, 2x European Champion) is running her debut in the marathon.
its going to get up to 22 degrees and no cloud and the forecast has been rising over last few days. won't impact the elites quite as much but it's going to impact performance (mine included sadly)

hopefully a genuine German beats them but looks like there Kenyan imports will put the European record further out of reach of native Europeans.
Paddy Roddy? he looks like he needs lose about a stone to realise his true potential, will do well to beat all the british ladies but hes a bang average club runner who turns up at every time trial in Europe to pump up his soggy ego

I don't understand your point. How can Fitwi and Petros be more German? They live in Germany. They have German nationality. They pay tax in Germany. They speak German. They have German clubs. They chose to run for Germany. I would say they are more German than Josh Kerr is British
