Langon is in really good shape.
What do we think is the over/under for the cutoff for making indoor nationals in the 3k and 5k? 7:39/13:15? Faster?
Is there a good link to a top 10 all time list? The one at ustfccca is broken.
The official women's world U20 indoor record appears to be 14:53.99.
Senayet Getachew ran 14:42.94 at BU in 2024. Anyone know why this one wasn't ratified? Was it the track?
Jane could beat 14:53. 14:42 is probably out of reach and without Lemngole she won't be getting any help.

She most likely didn’t get drug tested after.
Same thing with Josh Kerr in 2022, ran 3:48 for a British record but was never officially ratified by WA due to no drug test, but is recognized by UK athletics as the official record
Any idea of pacing assignments for the women’s 5k??

As implied in the Flotrack announcement, the fastest single heats of the 800-5000 will be run back to back. This will make it a lot more exciting for viewing in person, although the second and third heats of those races can be pretty dam quick as well. Can probably still do a double as well if you request a lower seeding or just pad your time a bit.
I have a hunch that Caren Kiplagat and MBD will update their respective 5000m PBs (15:59/15:54) a tad.
There is already a thread on times and ratings.
Meet entries are expected to be released sometime today.

The headers show as last year's, but it looks like the entries are in fact 2025.
as expected the pro fields are lighter than recent years due to USA XC being the same weekend

There’s also no major championships this summer for which any Americans need to chase qualification standards.

. . .
Jenna Hutchins/BYU entered in the 5000.
If she runs well . . . say, sub-15:30 . . . some will be second-guessing Diljeet's decision not to race her at NCAAs, especially given how close BYU came to winning . . .
Will Hedengren get tested post race? True freshman running a NCAA Indoor record should do all it can do to become official.
