Ain’t no way this is the same guy who tried to petition me out of a NCAA final due to a NCAA rule qualifying me 😂😂 Dave Smith one funny dude!! Anyone know if the after-party is in Iten or Stillwater? pic.twitter.com/umo10ypW0u
I also saw Aliphine Tulliamuk speak out against the present system and how different it was when she came over as a Kenyan. I am yet to see one pro athlete or coach support what is presently going on in the NCAA Cross Country. if Dave’s goal is to make the sport more popular by creation a villain then he has been very successful.

You wouldn’t be complaining if they didn’t win. I agree that we need to change the rules but don’t get made at a coach following the rules and making the best team.
Dave Smith is a very good coach. He already had the hardware to prove it prior to the past three years, but I also know it from training with a former OSU athlete who ran under Dave Smith and passed on his training practices to me. But he's not winning now because he's a very good coach. He's winning because he bought top talent sight unseen.

I saw that. If I remember correctly, she was saying she came over for school and was def recruited for her running talent but it was raw talent someone took a chance on. It took her a couple years to get good so the NCAA system developed her. She didn't come fully formed as a pro runner already, with times that are better than American records.
