Sometimes I take my dogs to a public park and let them run around off the leash. They’re totally safe and have most of their their shots. Sometimes they take a dump in the park, and I never clean it up. It’s a public place, I didn’t think I need to. If they crap in someone’s front yard, I’ll clean that up. But am I obligated to clean their sh!t up in a public place? I ask because some lady started yelling at me the other day about my dogs. I just waved my hand and wandered off without responding. But I wonder what my obligations really are. I would say in a public park it’s watch your step. I mean if you step in crap, it’s your problem. Am I the A$$hole?
